Landscape Architecture

The graduates of this programme are trained to be specialized in designing, organizing and maintaining green spaces in urban and rural environment. Skills provided by the curriculum: -Designing, planning and landscaping. -Interior landscaping and floral arrangements. -Establishment of nurseries, greenhouses and solariums to produce seedlings of ornamental plants. -Restoration of parks, modern gardens and historical sites. -Specialized consultancy in landscape architecture. -Business marketing and management in landscape architecture. -Realization of handmade drawings and sketches supporting development plans. -Computer aided design of development plans. -Develop and implement surveying works. -Design and build access roads, traffic system and embankments in green landscapes. -Implement the system ‘edible landscaping’ (using ornamental species of vegetable, vine and fruit tree in landscaping). -Develop and implement specific phytosanitary programs for ornamental plants, create and maintain healthy environment. -Ensuring the optimum moisture level by installing irrigation systems or land drainage. -Knowledge and operation of machines used in maintenance works of green spaces.
