Hello, my name is Jeren and I am a StudyInRomania Student Ambassador. In this post, I will be walking you through everything that happened during our training session in Bucharest March 18th to 21st 2026.

Participating in this training was very important for me because I wanted to increase my skills in public speaking and filmmaking, to bond with other ambassadors who happen to be also my friends and meet new people.

Throughout this training, I participated in a lot of activities, took part in active discussions and acquired valuable skills and information that added up to my personal development and professional abilities as ambassador.

On the first day of training, we all gathered at UEFISDI office where we had very productive discussions that were followed by some presentations about the "Romania on the horizon 2030" project, and "Gender equality" and some others.

A key part of the training was learning about the I Learn That in Romania campaign. We focused on the technical side—matching fonts and colors—so that our materials stay consistent and on-brand.

On the second and third days, our activities took place at CINETIc, the International Center for Research and Education in Innovative and Creative Technologies, part of the National University of Theatre and Film 'I.L. Caragiale' Bucharest.

We kicked off the second day training by getting to know about cultural sensitivity and intercultural communication, led by Andrei Lăcraru. I felt a great eagerness to engage in open discussion and explore the diverse points of view shared by my colleagues.

Next, we attended a film advertising session with Laura Lăzărescu. The theme was extremely timely, as I am always striving to improve my video quality as an ambassador. Learning about camera angles made it much clearer how to create more engaging and 'catchy' reels.

I learned to be open to new knowledge in Romania, which will ultimately help me become a well-rounded person, ready to embrace the ever-changing reality of our world.

On the third day I had a great privilege to meet new coach, dramatist and actress Mihaela Bețiu. I had a great pleasure to spend the day which was full of activities with her. Every single activity had its certain goal that I successfully reinforced.

I learned how to write the speech very quickly and present it to the public. As an ambassador I can say that it is the most necessary skill to obtain. Brainstorming, looking for ideas in a short timeframe especially when you need to show your individuality is a major subject matter.

I do appreciate that we also worked on this and I had a perfect chance to develop it.

Exploring the StudyInRomania platform through Virtual Reality was a standout experience that I won't soon forget. I am so proud to be part of a program that is so eager to embrace the future and push the boundaries of progress.

Basically, I was given VR glasses and through them I could see the official website with detailed information, with lots of videos from each domain as well as student stories and testimonial videos.

Moreover, I would also like to mention the experience we had with the CAVE, the VR simulator at UNATC. This experience gave me a great amount of impression when I tried on myself. The VR simulator was incredibly immersive so that I felt like I was actually inside the video fragment. I was also impressed by how realistic everything looked and felt. The level of a detail was amazing, especially the sound effects and visuals.
