Study in Romania

Hi, I’m Angel, a StudyInRomania Ambassador since July 2025, and I recently had the opportunity to take part in the Study in Europe Education Fair in Tirana, Albania, together with the StudyInRomania team. Let me tell you about my experience!

This experience was truly unforgettable for me. Participating in the Study in Europe Education Fair in Albania was an important milestone in my academic journey and a key moment in my growth as a Student Ambassador for Romania. It pushed me beyond my comfort zone and helped me develop new personal and professional skills.

I had the opportunity to connect with many students who were curious and eager to learn more about studying abroad. Talking to them about my own academic journey in Romania allowed me to share authentic insights about life as an international student, from adapting to a new culture and language to discovering the high-quality education, welcoming communities, and affordable lifestyle that Romanian universities provide.

During the event, we attended several seminars about higher education in Europe, which helped me better understand how the European educational system works and the many opportunities it offers. These sessions were enriching and inspiring, giving me the chance to interact with representatives from different European countries, learn about their unique educational strengths, and reflect on how Romania fits within this vibrant academic network.

I learned that in Romania, students don’t just study, they grow in an environment that values diversity, academic excellence, and collaboration, preparing them to become active citizens in a global community.

At the Education Fair, I felt very proud to represent Romania. I shared information about academic programs offered in Romanian, English, French, Hungarian and German, covering all levels and fields of study, from engineering and medicine to arts and social sciences. Many students were impressed to see how well-structured and internationally oriented Romanian higher education is, with programs that combine strong academic traditions with innovation, accessibility, and a welcoming atmosphere for international students.
The Study in Romania platform also offers detailed information about universities, scholarships, and practical guidance to make studying in Romania a smooth and exciting experience for students from around the world.

In the end, this experience reminded me why I chose Romania for my studies, and why I’m so proud to share that choice with others.
If you’re considering studying abroad, take a closer look at Romania - you might just find your next big adventure there!
