The StudyinRomania portal has been developed and is hosted by the Executive Agency for Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation Funding (UEFISCDI). The portal aims to provide a high quality database with detailed information about the higher education system in Romania and the universities' educational offer.
New, updated modules, providing a better adaptation of the platform to current technologies and, implicitly, attracting new students, have been developed by UEFISCDI, together with the Ministry of Education (ME), through the project Quality in higher education: internationalization and databases to enhance the Romanian education system between 2018 and 2022, co-financed by the European Social Fund through the Operational Program “Human Capital” (POCU). The project aims to develop and implement systemic measures at tertiary education level, leading to an increased quality of the overall higher education system and universities better prepared for labor market requirements and international standards.
More details about the project are available here.
