The “Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Iasi is a public institution of higher education, registered in the Romanian National System of Higher Education. The University has four faculties as follows: the Faculty of Agriculture, the Faculty of Horticulture, the Faculty of Animal Husbandry and the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. According to the university autonomy, each faculty organized itself on departments for properly solving all the educational issues and research related problems that might appear during the academic year.
The “Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine is situated in the city of Iasi, a metropolis of 96 square kilometres positioned, on seven hills in the North - East part of Romania. Geographically, the city of Iasi is 394 km away from Bucharest, 431 km from Cluj Napoca and 144 km away from Kishinev, the capital of the Republic of Moldavia.
Nowadays, in the city there are more than 350 thousands inhabitants while in the metropolitan area there are more than 400 thousands. Being an important university centre, in Iasi there are five public universities and five private universities that bring in the city more than 80.000 students during the academic year.
The main campus of the “Ion Ionescu de la Brad” University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Iasi is on the Copou hill, in the north part of the city on an area of 15 hectares. Inside the campus, in the main building, there are the Faculties of Agriculture, Horticulture and in the second building, there are the Faculties of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine. Another building that is still under construction is destined to the field of Alimentary Industry.
For the accommodation of the students, the university has 4 hostels with 1550 places available. Since the present capacity of the hostels does not entirely answer the students’ needs, the university has under construction, in final phase, a new hostel of 300 places.
For the specific practical training, the institution has a teaching resort with three production and research farms, namely: Ezăreni farm – 122 ha –where the students of the Faculty of Agriculture do their practical training; Adamachi farm – 49 ha – destined to the students of the Faculty of Horticulture and the Rediu farm – 58 ha – for the practical training of the students of the Faculties of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine. In addition, also for teaching purposes, the university has three centres for practical training, one at Plaiul Şarului (capacity of 66 places), one at Frasin, in Suceava county, for the students of the Faculties of Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Medicine and Agriculture and another one in Făcăeni, Ialomiţa County (capacity of 60 places) for the students of the Faculty of Agriculture.
The total surface in the University’s possession reaches 11.571 ha distributed as follows: 10.190 ha in Ialomita, 770 ha in Vaslui, 211 ha in Iasi and 400 ha in Botosani

Founded in 1864 by the painter Theodor Aman, the National University of Arts in Bucharest is the largest settlement of artistic higher education in Romania, with over 1,400 students, covering all the major areas of fine arts, decorative arts and art history and theory. Along the years the names of prestigious personalities were related to the history of the university either as professors or students such as Constantin Brancusi, Victor Brauner, Dimitrie Paciurea, Ioan Andreescu, Stefan Luchian, Ion Jalea, Nicolae Darascu, Corneliu Baba, Alexandru Ciucurencu or Paul Neagu, to mention just a few. You will do practical training in the modern greenhouses of our university, in the Research Center for the Study of Quality Food Product, or in the two didactic stations of USAMV, with tradition since 1893: the Pietroasa Research and Development Station for Viticulture and Winemaking and the Istrița Research and Developement Station for Fruit Growing, as well as at the Moara Domnească Research and Developement Station for Agronomy.

 

Research Center for the Study of Quality Food Product has 13 multidisciplinary research laboratories and a greenhouse, designed to European standards, providing competitiveness both at national and international level.

As a member of the educational system of Romania, the Banat’s University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine  ''King Michael I of Romania'' from Timişoara (BUASVMT) is a state institution operating in higher education and scientific research.
The traditions of the  BUASVMT are connected to the establishment of the Faculty of Agronomy on July 30, 1945, by Decree No 2394 issued by King Michael I of Romania and Law No 617, published in the Monitorul Oficial (Official Gazette) of Romania on August 1, 1945. 
The BUASVMT has largely developed after the year 1990, has evolved, extending to a number of six faculties functioning at present (Agriculture, Horticulture, Agricultural Management, Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science and Biotechnologies, Food Processing), comprising 22 undergraduate programs, 26 master programs and two doctoral schools (Veterinary Medicine and Engineering of Plant and Animal Resources), over 7000 students and over 500 teaching positions.
a) THE FACULTY OF AGRICULTURE comprises the following undergraduate programs: Agriculture, Plant Protection, Environmental Protection and Engineering in Agriculture, Biology, Agricultural Machines and Food Processing Equipment, and Land Measurements and Cadastre;
b) THE FACULTY OF HORTICULTURE AND FORESTRY comprises the following undergraduate programs: Horticulture, Landscaping, Genetic Engineering in Agriculture, and Forestry;

The duration of undergraduate studies is 4 years in Agricultural education, 6 years in Veterinary Medicine, and 3 years in Biology.
The BUASVMT has come under the provisions of the "Bologna Process" starting with the academic year 2005-2006.
In the doctoral studies programme, the BUASVMT trains PhD students in 5 areas: Agronomy, Horticulture, Veterinary Medicine, Food Engineering, and Animal Science.
Based on the activities carried out so far and those planned to take place in the future, our university may be considered a national-class institution, with greater influence in the western part of the country. Our institution aims to render this agro-alimentary region of the country into a competitive performer on the Euroregional level, while also making it comparable and compatible with important agricultural areas in Europe. “George Enescu” National University of Arts is the first artistic higher education institution in Romania. It was founded in 1860 as The Music and Declamation School, by official decree of Alexandru Ioan Cuza, the first Ruler of the United Principalities. 26 days later, with the signing of the decree for the foundation of the University, the School for Sculpture and Painting and the National Painting Museum are born.
In 1931, the Conservatory and the School of Fine Arts are elevated to the rank of Academy through a decree given by the renowned historian and politician Nicolae Iorga. In the same year George Enescu, a top-ranking personality on the national and international music scene, accepts the proposal that the Academy of Music and Drama in Iasi bear his name, and he is appointed, at the initiative of the teaching body, honorary Rector for life. In 1948, the education reform brings together the art education institutions under one roof, that of the Art Institute (Music, Drama and Fine Arts Faculties).
In 1997 the institution receives, through a decree of the Romanian Government, the name of «University of Arts "George Enescu"» and it organizes through its structure the three main artistic branches: Music, Visual Arts and Drama.
Since 2016 the institution became “George Enescu” National University of Arts, structured in three specialized faculties: Faculty of Performance, Composition and Music Theory Studies, Faculty of Visual Arts and Design, Faculty of Theatre, comprising 23 study programs serving both BA and MA levels, Doctoral Studies Department (Doctoral School) for the Ph.D. level of studies and Department for Teachers Education.
With over 1,500 students, covering all the major areas of arts, the University stands as a beacon of culture, aiming for the protection, preservation and promotion of the Romanian artistic creation, development of the taste for beauty and for authentic creations.
Being situated in Iasi, the University allow its students to benefit from the intense and rich cultural life of the city, with numerous artistic venues, art galleries and important museums, such as Iasi Philharmonic, the National Theatre of Iasi or the Palace of Culture. Located in a central area of Iasi the university has modern studios, laboratories, performance halls, an art library, accommodation facilities and a dynamic art gallery where are exhibited works by students and established artists from Romania and abroad.
The University creates numerous opportunities for scientific research and artistic creation, excellence coming precisely from the thoughtful balance of the two, as a professional means for development of the 'teachers' and the students' activity.
The Publishing House of the University - Artes is in charge of editing and printing didactic, scientific and cultural books and articles written by the members of the academic community. It also prints any material related to the University.

Under the slogan "The University close to you!", "Vasile Alecsandri" University of Bacău has developed the area of domains and study programmes, its structure currently consisting of five faculties: Engineering, Letters, Sciences, Economic Sciences, and the Faculty of Movement, Sport and Health Sciences.

The Faculty of Engineering is integrated into the network of technical faculties in Romania. The educational offer for Bachelor studies covers: Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Power Engineering, Food Engineering, Computers and Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics and robotics, Engineering and management. 
The Master’s degree areas are: Environmental Engineering, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Power Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering and management, Mechatronics and Robotics
The doctoral studies include two fields: Industrial Engineering and Environmental Engineering.

The Faculty of Letters has constantly enriched the educational offer, adapting it to the dynamics of contemporary society. The educational offer includes 3 domains for Bachelor studies, namely: Language and Literature, Communication Sciences and Education Sciences; 3 domains for the Master’s degree: Philology, Communication Sciences and Education Sciences. 

The Faculty of Sciences continues the tradition of academic education in Bacău through its Bachelor and Master’s programmes, preparing specialists in the fields of: Mathematics, Informatics, Biology, Environmental Science. The faculty is affiliated to Informatics Europe, the Association of Informatics Departments in Europe.

The Faculty of Economic Sciences is an active and dynamic presence in the national academic system and in the economic and social life of Central Moldavia. The faculty trains specialists in the fields of: Business Administration, Accounting and Marketing. The studies can be completed by the Master’s degree educational offer.

The Faculty of Movement, Sport and Health Sciences aims at training specialists in the following Bachelor's degrees: Physical Education and Sport, Physical Therapy and Psychology, and in the following Master’s degrees: Sport and Physical Education Science, which effectively and efficiently meet the requirements of the labor market and contribute to human development, to the promotion of health and sports values, to the social integration and reintegration of the persons with disabilities.
