Proiect cofinantat din Fondul Social European prin Programul Operational Capital Uman 2014 – 2020
Informatics (Bachelor, 3 years) addresses those who enjoy programming and using computers, from websites or databases to desktop or mobile applications, but do not necessarily desire to pursue a career in engineering. Students can get a degree faster, and the curriculum is only about using, programming and administering computer systems and networks. The students will acquire skills to solve real-life problems by using computer programs, or by creating new ones. They will know about using basic concepts of informatics and dedicated computer programs, software design with several different programming languages and environments, integration and management of computer networks. Data integration and fusion, together with system and database administration are also covered topics. Despite topics being common to computer engineering, students at Informatics are more focused on using tools and high-level management of systems and networks rather than their design and implementation. The students are encouraged to do teamwork as well, as many real-life situations in an IT environment base their outcome on collaboration between many. The program is taught in Romanian.
