Fashion Design

The curriculum for the Fashion specialization for cycle I (3 years) provides students the knowledge and fundamental concepts for their future occupations and suggests exercises that simulate the functioning mechanisms that young graduates will face on the dynamics of the fashion market and the image promotion. The department has developed a modular curriculum system that allows access for all the students to the experience of the entire teaching staff, during the 3 years of B.A. studies. This first itinerary paves the way to all the directions where fashion and costume creation can show up, then allowing the student the freedom to choose both the coordinating teacher and the type of diploma for the B.A. paper. The education curriculum dedicated to fashion also tackles the issues related to the clothing design as such integrated to the European Union (studying the same trends, technical production methods and fashion management) and the creation of the show costume, but the unconventional experiments that place the garments in the area of visual arts are especially fostered. Special focus is granted to the interdisciplinary artistic genres.
