The primary objective of the program is the scientific and professional training of future specialists by considering the professional integration perspective and the need to develop scientific research development. The students will acquire the skills necessary to work in the field of geriatric pathology rehabilitation nationally and internationally.
The graduates of the master program are accredited to perform recovery activities not only in the sphere of geriatric pathology but also in other pathologies specific to different age categories. More and more seniors are hosted in elderly homes, daycare centres, palliative clinics. Hence, we need an increasing number of specialists for their functional recovery assistance.
Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași, through the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, has concluded several partnerships to adjust and improve the professional training process of Physical Therapy graduates. The point is to adapt this process to the labour market necessities. These collaborations will contribute to the training of skilled experts and to scientific and consultative assistance in promoting the economic activities of the partners.
