Mathematics

The main purpose of the doctoral programs in the fields of Mathematics and Computer Science, organized by the Doctoral School of Mathematics and Computer Science (SDMI), is to promote high quality fundamental and applied research in Mathematics and Computer Science, as well as interdisciplinary research, by involving doctoral students in the most important and recent research projects of the faculty, including international cooperation with academic and industrial partners. The existence of the two doctoral domains (Mathematics and Computer Science) within the doctoral school represents a strategic advantage, with potential for collaboration and generator of interdisciplinary results.
