Bachelor programme (BA/ BSc)

Facultatea de Științe Economice și Drept PITEŞTI

Program description

The Accounting and Management Information Systems Bachelor's degree programme provides students with a comprehensive academic background in financial accounting, management accounting, auditing, taxation, business analysis, and management information systems. Designed for students seeking greater flexibility, the programme combines independent study with scheduled face-to-face learning activities and digital educational resources, enabling students to balance academic studies with professional and personal commitments.

The curriculum integrates theoretical knowledge with practical applications through case studies, projects, and the use of modern accounting and business information technologies. Students develop the knowledge and skills required to record, analyse, interpret, and report financial information, support managerial decision-making, and apply information systems in accounting and business management.

Graduates are prepared for careers as accountants, financial analysts, auditors, management accountants, tax specialists, and financial consultants in private companies, public institutions, consulting firms, and financial organizations. The programme also provides a solid foundation for further studies at the master's and doctoral levels and for continuous professional development in accounting, finance, and business information systems.
