Comparative Universal Literature - Chinese Language and Literature
The Comparative Universal Literature Bachelor program outlines cultural differences and enables the dialogue between national literatures by its transdisciplinary opening toward anthropology, sociology, history of the ideas, research of the imaginary, cultural studies, digital humanities and medical humanities. The courses vary from Ancient to Modern and contemporary literature to Literary geographies or Postmodern mythologies, offering insights into different national literatures within a universal context.
The specialization can be combined with Chinese as a segment B language. The primary objective of the Chinese Language and Literature specialization is to develop not only a linguistic competence which would allow the students' fluent use of the Chinese language, but also the constitution of a cultural background which would aid them in their future endeavour of developing their Sinology studies. The courses are being taught both in Romanian and in Chinese.
