The undergraduate program Chinese Language and Literature – Modern Language and Literature (English/German/French) / Romanian Language and Literature aims to train multilingual, multicultural European citizens capable of interacting across diverse cultural contexts, both nationally and internationally. It prepares students for careers in philology, education, translation and interpretation, communication, and cultural mediation. The program combines scientific and practical training, with courses taught in Chinese, German, French, and Romanian by faculty members and guest lecturers from China. It prepares future philologists, linguists, teachers (with pedagogical certification), translators, and cultural communicators. Students benefit from access to a specialized library and a wide range of training opportunities—at the Confucius Institute, within LBUS departments, or in institutions teaching Chinese language and culture. They also have access to Erasmus+ mobility programs in EU countries, allowing placements in universities, translation offices, museums, cultural centers, and other relevant institutions.
