Cultural Studies

Within the Cultural Studies program, students are introduced to the definitions and types of culture, the history, methodology, and terminology of cultural research through a wide range of theoretical and practical subjects. The program places great emphasis on enabling students to think independently and, if necessary, critically about the cultural and social processes happening around them. During the professional training, students undertake partly independent research tasks and partly engage in practical work within cultural institutions, preparing them for their future roles as cultural managers.
