Pharmacy

The PHARMACY study program has as its mission the training of specialists who, through the theoretical knowledge and practical skills acquired, can contribute to increasing the exigency of the therapeutic act and the health status of the population.

The main objectives are:

● adequate knowledge of the drug and the substances used for the manufacture of drugs;

● adequate knowledge of pharmaceutical technology and of the physical, chemical, biological and microbiological control of the drug;

● adequate knowledge of the metabolism, therapeutic effects, the action of toxicants and the use of drugs;

● knowledge of the legislative framework relating to the exercise of the profession and the handling of health products.

The achievement of the specialization mission aims to:

● ensure fundamental and specialized knowledge in accordance with the permanent progress of pharmaceutical practice;

● ensure the creation and implementation of a high-performance pharmaceutical education adapted to the sectoral directives of the EU, developed and improved through a complex research activity;

● motivating students to maintain a keen interest in new discoveries/progress in the field;

● solid partnerships with potential employers.
