Proiect cofinantat din Fondul Social European prin Programul Operational Capital Uman 2014 – 2020
The Journalism study program aligns with the academic values of Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu—freedom of thought, autonomy, critical thinking, creativity, and a solid general culture. It is designed to meet the needs of today’s digital-native students, offering cognitive, professional, and interpersonal training that matches national and international standards, labor market demands, and evolving societal challenges.
Learning outcomes include: interviewing, researching, writing to deadlines, proofreading, editing text, video, and sound, managing online content, operating cameras, and creating news content for various media types. Students learn to follow ethical journalism standards, respect cultural preferences, adapt to different platforms, and work closely in editorial teams. They also develop professional networks, participate in editorial meetings, handle budgets, supervise staff, negotiate rights, and stay current with news and social media. The program fosters intercultural awareness, persuasive communication, and editorial consistency across traditional and digital formats.
