Proiect cofinantat din Fondul Social European prin Programul Operational Capital Uman 2014 – 2020
Agricultural Biotechnology represents the newest focus within the Faculty of Horticulture at Iasi. Driven by society's imperative to address challenges posed by population growth, including energy and food crises, as well as ecological and bioremediation issues, biotechnologies play a crucial role. Despite being perceived as a futuristic science, this field underpins essential processes like bread, wine, and cheese production, along with the selective reproduction and growth of plants and animals—vital elements for contemporary society.
