Chemical and Biochemical Processes Informatics

The study program ”Engineering and informatics of Chemical and Biochemical Processes, Dual” (IIPCB Dual), 240 ECTS, offered by Universitatea Babeș-Bolyai (UBB) and Emerson, provides students with a comprehensive education in process engineering. It combines in equal shares the academic courses at UBB with hands-on learning experiences at Emerson. This dual approach ensures students develop both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, enhancing employability in industries that need chemical engineers and may use software tools for process design, monitoring, modelling, simulation, and control. The program aligns with industry demands, preparing graduates for roles such as chemical engineer, process engineer, quality responsible, designer, consultant, and inspector.
