Psychology

The Psychology study program at the Petru Maior Faculty of Sciences and Letters is designed for individuals interested in gaining a comprehensive understanding of psychology as a science, with a focus on its application in various fields of activity. The program covers key applied branches, including clinical psychology and psychotherapy, educational psychology and vocational counseling, work psychology and industrial-organizational psychology, as well as psychology in defense, public order, and national security.

The specificity of our university's study program lies in its interdisciplinarity, integrating knowledge from related fields with practical applicability in psychological practice, such as: psychological elements used in pain therapy, physiology applied in psychology, and understanding the biological mechanisms involved in neuropsychological disorders. Competence development will be achieved through a combination of theoretical and practical knowledge, facilitating the integration of graduates into the labor market.
