Proiect cofinantat din Fondul Social European prin Programul Operational Capital Uman 2014 – 2020
The study programme in Medical Physics introduces fundamental concepts of medical physics, covering topics like diagnostic imaging, radiological medicine, nuclear medicine, and health and radiation physics. Graduate students not only gain academic knowledge but also practical experience through teaching assistantships, research, and clinical skills training. Graduates develop skills in identifying and appropriately using the main physical laws and principles in a given context, using software packages for data analysis and processing, performing physics, biophysics and medical physics experiments and evaluating the results based on theoretical models, using software packages for analysing and processing experimental data in order to optimize medical diagnosis and treatment, interpreting physical-medical information and transmitting it in a coherent and accessible form.
Career opportunities
Graduates of the programme in Medical Physics can be employed as: Physicist (Biophysicist, Physics Research Analyst, Physics Researcher, Medical Physicist, Nuclear Physicist, Physicists, Physics Analyst, Ballist Physicist, Physics Scholar, Physics Research Scientist, Petrophysicis, Physics Science Researcher, Forensic Physicist, Physics Scientist)
