Proiect cofinantat din Fondul Social European prin Programul Operational Capital Uman 2014 – 2020
The specialization "Food Control and Expertise" aims to train higher education specialists – engineers – in the food industry. Applied sciences complete the fundamental training through disciplines such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, technical drawing, and computer programming. A general technical culture is developed through core technical disciplines integrated with specialized subjects. Theoretical and practical training, based on the curriculum, prepares graduates for roles such as: engineers in food production control, able to design and monitor manufacturing control schemes based on technical and technological knowledge; food quality control engineers in Quality Management departments of food industry units; and engineers in food quality control and expertise within organizations focused on food quality and safety, such as the Sanitary and Veterinary Directorate, County Inspectorate of Sanitary Police, or Consumer Protection.
