Program description

The specialization "Food Engineering" aims to train future engineers in the food industry. In the category of specialized disciplines, the group of specialized technological disciplines has a particular importance: Technology, equipment and quality control of products in the meat industry; milk; bakery and flour products; canned goods, juices and soft drinks; sugar and sugar products; milling; wine; fermentation industry. The theoretical and practical training they will receive, according to the subjects in the curricula, ensures that graduates can carry out their subsequent activities as: technologist engineers in production units in the food industry; technologist engineers, designers and researchers in design and research institutes and teams in the food industry; technologist engineers in laboratory teams and services for the quality control in food manufacturing phases; technologist engineers for the promotion of new technologies and additives. Also, after completing appropriate in-depth and specialization courses, graduates of this specialization can obtain the quality of experts in the food industry.
