The study program Dental Technique is part of the Faculty of Dentistry organizational structure, being the first College established within our University in 1991, the students carrying on their activity in parallel with their colleagues from this faculty.

The specialization Dental Technique has been accredited according to A.R.A.C.I.S. proposition, by GD 635/2008, published in the Official Journal of Romania no. 834, part I December 11, 2008.

Being a county at the border, with multicultural character, our graduates have the opportunity also for professional achievement on the globalized labor market. The Diploma Supplement in English gives them the possibility of employment in the European public and private system;

There is the employers’ interest in approaching the best graduates of the program of Dental Technique expressed by the partnerships concluded with multinational companies in the field of dental equipment and materials.

The mission of this specialization is to train very well trained dental technicians in the field of dental prosthetics, of orthodontic and surgical devices.

Upon graduation, a future dental technician must have state-of-art knowledge and comprehension of the major issues on the practice of dentistry and of dental technique, in particular. They have to have many skills, including those related to research, inquiring, analytical, of problems-solving, of planning, communication, presentation and teamwork. In addition, they have to understand the relevance of these activities in the practice of dental technique.
