Special Psychopedagogy

The general objective of the study program Special psychopedagogy is to train specialists in the sciences of education, more specifically, in the field of special psychopedagogy. The objectives and the profile of competencies developed in accordance with the needs identified on the labor market and with the national qualifications framework are summarized below and in detail in the subject sheets of the curriculum. Specific objectives:

O1: To train specialists in the field of Education Sciences, particularly of special psychopedagogy, who have high skills in educating, performing specific therapies, integrating children and adults with special needs and in counseling people with special needs and their families.

O2: To develop the skills of individualized psycho-pedagogical approach of children and adults with special needs, by compiling personalized recovery programs.

O3: The psycho-pedagogical specialist should be able to comprehensively evaluate children and adults with SEN, to design individualized intervention plans, facilitating the school and social inclusion of people with SEN.
