This specialisation provides adequate hardware and software training for engineers, giving them skills in: knowledge of the architecture and structure of a computer, the operation of a computer system and peripheral devices; the use of a computer system and specific software products; understanding the operation and configuration of an operating system and a real-time operating system; the use of system software and utilities; digital signal processing; the configuration of networks and knowledge of their protocol levels.
