Industrial Environmental Engineering and Protection

The mission of the Industrial Environmental Engineering and Protection (IPMI) study programme is to form highly trained professionals who will have the skills and the abilities specific to the fundamental field of Engineering Sciences. This programme has an extensive focus and offers a wide variety cousres that provide excellent competences for employment in private and public companies. Graduates form the programme will have cross-disciplinary qualifications for working as environmental engineering within the various fields of the industry to help the building of the sustainable society.

The existence of competitive research teams within the Department and the Faculty, allows students to receive training in the fundamentals of research through a number of specific applied research activities. IPMI graduates, with additional training in pedagogy, can also carry out didactic activities in primary, secondary and tertiary education. Graduates may opt to continue their studies at master and doctoral level in chemical engineering, environmental engineering and materials science, or start their career in industry.
