Hydraulic Engineering and Structures

Beside the general qualification and competence in civil engineering, considering constructions design and technological accomplishment, the ACH program aims to prepare its students in approaching and elaborating specialized projects and works comprising hydraulic developments of various and complex purposes. The civil engineer specialized in hydraulic developments shall be able to manage the various construction elements regarding the water related infrastructure, all together from hydraulic, structural, technological and managing points of view. Specific issues regarding water retaining, capture and transport structures or hydropower, river engineering, water ways, water supply and sewerage and hydro-technical land improvement arrangements can be mentioned.
