Proiect cofinantat din Fondul Social European prin Programul Operational Capital Uman 2014 – 2020
The International Relations and European Studies program has two components – a general and a complementary one.
General training is mandatory for all students; being multidisciplinary in nature, it defines the graduates’ qualification. The main strong point of the program is the variety of intellectual paradigms it encompasses: history of international relations, theory of international relations, international and European law, political economy and international relations, various area studies, sociology of international relations, security studies, political philosophy, diplomatic principles and techniques, political communication, modern languages etc.
The complementary training includes two sets of courses, from which students choose in the first semester: one is dedicated to the study of political history and comprehensive international relations, while the other is focused on cultural European studies. The first module comprises courses on several political systems and the evolution of inter-state relations throughout various epochs and civilizations, both pre-modern and modern. The second module comprises courses that analyze the evolution of European and Romanian civilization.
