The Master program focuses on the complex system of road transportation and emphasizes the way technology, operation, management and policy making interact. The ever-increasing mobility need of the population and of the economy, has created tremendous problems for the road network and the urban mobility systems, which are under great pressure and have to deal with huge congestions, high level of environmental pollution and with great number of accidents. The program is connected to the road transportation (passenger and freight), but in the case of the urban and regional mobility systems (which are of great importance in the daily mobility), even other transport modes are studied (rail, light rail, non-motorized and in-land water). Our alumni have the skills to make sustainable planning of mobility, they are able to design, operate, maintain, manage and control road systems and urban networks. They learn, among others, about design of road transport systems, intelligent transport systems, public transport, advanced modeling and simulation in road transport, traffic control and management, road accident investigation, reconstruction and road safety.
