Communication and Public Relations

In 1993, our department of Communication and Public Relations has become the first specialised communication-oriented academic division within the Faculty of Letters in the University of Bucharest.
The structure of our department follows prestigious European and North American models of teaching Communication in Higher Education.
The Bachelor's programme takes three years. The student will graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Public Relations. Our department also offers the possibility to deepen the knowledge with two Master's programmes.
Our courses focus on the knowledge and the professional skills needed in specific domains like Public Relations, Sociology, Psychology and Management, but we also provide a comprehensive understanding of the contemporary world by offering courses in a variety of fields: imagology, history of mentalities, cultural anthropology, foreign languages etc. Both our Bachelor's and Master's programmes are accredited by The Romanian Agency of Quality Assurance in Higher Education.
Our main objective is that of enhancing scientific research quality and professional practice in Public Relations and other connected fields.
