Informatics

The program offers a BSc in computer science.
Graduates of this program will have the basic knowledge in the major fields of computer science (computing systems’ architecture, algorithms and data structures, procedural programming, automata and formal languages, operating systems, advanced programming techniques, mathematical and computational logic, databases) as well as in specific related ones (graph algorithmics, artificial intelligence, object oriented programming, computability and complexity, criptography, logical programming, computer networks, compiling techniques). They will equally gain basic and specific knowledge in mathematical areas with direct relevance and strong applicability to computer science (calculus, algebra, geometry, differential equations, probability and statistics, operational calculus).
The program graduates are able to continue their education with a Master Degree in different areas of computer science or in other scientific or economic areas. They can also work in industry or education.
