Proiect cofinantat din Fondul Social European prin Programul Operational Capital Uman 2014 – 2020
The distance-learning undergraduate studies programme follows entirely (curriculum, lectures’ content, evaluation criteria) the full-time undergraduate studies programme and – as such – it undergoes the same updating policies. Upon graduation, its students receive a diploma granting them the same rights as those of the graduates of the full-time programme. The courses’ syllabi are adapted to the level of mathematical and computer science knowledge of high school graduates and present the latest technologies in the areas addressed, focusing mainly on adaptability and applicability. Thus, the programme offers the students fundamental and advanced knowledge in Computer Science (Computing Systems’ Architecture, Operating Systems, Algorithms and Data Structures, Automata and Formal Languages, Computability and Complexity, Procedural and Object-Oriented Programming, Advanced Programming Techniques, Mathematical and Computational Logic, Databases, Web Design, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Cryptography) as well as basic and specific knowledge in mathematical areas with direct relevance to Computer Science (Calculus, Algebra, Geometry, Differential Equations, Probability and Statistics, Operational Calculus).
