The “Animal husbandry - Zootechnics” bachelor programme trains biotechnologists – higher education engineers able to coordinate and manage animal production technologies and animal products processing, in various fields, such as Poultry science, Beekeeping, Cattle, horses, swine, sheep and goats husbandry, Fur and game species husbandry, Aquaculture etc. The professional training of such specialists is oriented to achieve the best results and to provide high quality products, required by both national and international markets. Such engineers also accumulate knowledge and operate with notions and skills from the Nutrition and feeding, Genetics, Genetic improvement, Reproduction fields, etc. The “Animal husbandry” bachelor programme, throughout its alumni, is part of the wider and integrated concept of alimentary security and safety.
