Geology

The main aim of the geology programme is to provide the capacity to understand and applied the basic
concepts of fundamental geology. The programme is offering the following competences:

• ability to observe and interpret natural processes and products, to analyze, synthetize, present and sustain ideas and concepts by using rigorous scientific methods;
• ability to carry a responsible individual activity, to apply theoretical knowledge in laboratory and field, to use the bibliographic references in their professional activity, to produce general and speciffic professional documents;
• ability to communicate in at least one language of international use, to use specific equipments and applications for data collection and procession and of the communication and dissemination media.
