Ecology and Environmental Protection

Since 2008, Babeș-Bolyai University and the University of Rostock have coordinated their study programs, so that a double degree was created. Upon graduating, the students will receive degrees from both partner universities.

Students majoring in ecology and nature conservation acquire general biological and nature conservation knowledge in the first year, then from the second year they take mainly special ecological subjects, while in the third year they acquire modern ecological and nature conservation biological knowledge. Based on the knowledge gained during the three-year training, graduates can successfully apply for master's programs with an ecological profile or related to it.
