Hydrology and Meteorology

Hydrology and Meteorology university programme aims in forming at students the methodological and analytical skills to work in professional practice and make research on the hydro-atmospheric environment; practically, choosing this program you can become a good hydrologist, meteorologist or researcher in the two areas. Graduates from Hydrology and Meteorology will be able to develop studies of fundamental and applied research in the two areas. The curriculum comprises theoretical and applied courses, as well as practical stage/stages of research in the field. The strong applicative character of the courses offers to the graduates large opportunities on the labor market, in the areas of:
- monitoring air and water environment;
- economic exploitation of hydro-climatic resources;
- hydrological and climatic risk prevention and mitigation.
