Special Psychopedagogy

Professional competencies:
- Complex evaluation (psycho-socio-pedagogical) for children, teenagers and adults with SEN
- Particularized psycho-pedagogical intervention (compensation - recovery - therapy) for individuals with SEN
- Planning educational programmes for various study levels and target groups
- Psychopedagogical counselling, guidance and assistance for different categories of individuals / educational groups (children/ students, families, teachers, employees etc.)
- Self-assessment and continuous improvement of professional practices and career evolution
- Facilitation of mainstreaming and socio-professional inclusion for individuals with special needs
Potential jobs:
- Special psychopedagogy teacher (provides educational services to students with SEN) or special education teacher;
- teaching assistant (within inclusive schools);
- speech therapy teacher;
- specialized educator within care and suppor institutions / services for individuals with SEN.
