Mining Machinery and Equipement

This specialization ensures solid and well-oriented training, hence the graduates can perform either in the industrial engineering field or in fundamental research activities of applicative nature.
The competences achieved by graduates are as follows:
• identification and solving the main problems regarding selection, installation, setting and running mining machinery and equipment;
• selection of an adequate maintenance system for mining machinery and equipment and proper drawing up their working programs and maintenance and repair activities;
• drawing up the explanatory report and design of a component or subassembly for mining machinery or equipment to the purpose of rendering them operative.
The diversity of the approached teaching lines creates the premises for future engineers to be able to orient themselves towards other activity areas, so that they have easier access on the labour market.
