Equipment for Industrial Processes

The main objectives of this curriculum are focused of achieving generic abilities specific to mechanical engineering, in the field of design, execution, running, maintenance and repair of equipment used in industrial processes. Classic mechanical training is completed with knowledge related to:
• fluidic and pneumatic actuation;
• study of vibrations and vibroacoustic diagnostics;
• use of computer technology and computer-assisted design.
The competences achieved by graduates are as follows:
• systems selection, installation, running and maintenance in mechanical engineering field;
• use of fabrication planning and management systems for industrial processes equipment;
• quality assurance for products and services in industrial processes equipment field;
• management and marketing skills in industrial processes equipment field.
The curriculum ensures solid and well-oriented training, hence the graduates can perform either in running process machinery and installations or in their conception, design and manufacturing field. The optional component of the curricula ensures the future engineers the possibility of easy orientation toward other activity fields.
