Precision Mechanics and Nanotechnologies

The bachelor program, entitled „Precision Mechanics and Nanotechnologies" is eight
semesters long and is coordinated by the Department of Mechatronics and Machine
Dynamics from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Technical University of Cluj Napoca. It has a history of more than 25 years.
The main goal of the program consists in preparing specialists in the area of precision
mechanics and nanotechnologies. The degree contains disciplines from all types:
fundamental (such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry etc), specialties (such as
Design of micro mechanisms, Robotics etc). Also, there exists a set of optional
subjects. The teaching staff has an optimal structure, many of the professors also
being PhD supervisors, assuring a high-quality level of education. Laboratories are well equipped and have both a teaching and a research purpose.
