The program aims at forming specialists in a field that is increasingly sought after on the labor market, taking into account the social and economic realities, as well as the attitude change of the contemporary society towards the problems of the disadvantaged individuals and groups. The educational process is based on acquiring the theoretical knowledge, as well as the skills and the abilities needed for the diagnosis, prevention and intervention in order to reduce the social risk situations. The social workers that graduate from this program are suited for jobs like: senior social worker, school counselor, workforce and unemployment counselor, family counselor, social worker with expertise in mental health, research social worker etc.
