Program description

The objectives of the “Equipments for Industrial Processes” Study Program are realistic and well-defined and consider:
• research, design and manufacture of equipment in process industries, using modern computing techniques, represented by CAE (Computer Aided Engineering);
• operation and maintenance of machines, devices and installations in the construction and processing industries in the fields of: chemical, petrochemical and refining, food, processing of plastics and rubber, production of construction materials, composite materials, cellulose and paper, medicines, equipment serving the energy and metallurgical sectors;
• transportation of oversized and undersized industrial equipment, respectively assembly and commissioning;
• quality assurance;
• industrial management and specific marketing;
• environmental protection.
The secondary strategic objectives derive from deepening the specificity of a certain process industry (food, chemical, petrochemical, processing of polymeric materials, processing of construction materials, etc.) in relation to which the knowledge is sought: processing technologies specific to the respective industry; specific equipment and installations; learning how to work with dedicated software.
