Bachelor programme (BA/ BSc)

Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics Bucharest

Program description

The program has the mission to transmit in-depth knowledge and develop skills in design, technology development, manufacturing, quality assurance and experimental research in the broad and diversified field of equipment and instrumentation, technical products that require measurement, control and regulation, product miniaturization (nanotechnologies, microrobotics) and the expansion of measurement and processing precision.
It covers the broad and diversified field of equipment and instrumentation, particularly necessary for the economy or household utilities, also intervening in all technical products that require measurement, control and regulation. The evolution of industrial society towards the advanced information society has determined essential mutations in technological development, nanotechnologies being particularly noteworthy. In technological practice, this field represents the qualitative leap from traditional precision engineering to micro-engineering, while the educational dimension develops systemic thinking and the qualities required for teamwork. Training in the field of fine mechanics allows flexibility in action and thinking, being of particular importance for research and industry.
