Mechatronics

The MECHATRONICS study program prepares specialists in a modern field, ensuring them a multi- and interdisciplinary training, which combines in equal proportions the mechanics - electronics - computer science triad. It responds to the requirements of restructuring and modernization of higher technical education in our country, by preparing and training engineers with the broadest possible technical horizon, with trans-disciplinary skills, capable of, in a short time, removing the artificial borders between fields that have developed as closed systems. The field of Mechatronics and Robotics has the mission to transmit, through its study programs, in-depth knowledge and develop skills in the transdisciplinary subfields of mechatronics engineering and robotics, in accordance with modern technical trends, in order to achieve a synergistic combination between precision mechanics, electrical and pneumatic drive systems, electronic command and control equipment, and computer science, respectively, for the purpose of designing, creating, commissioning and operating intelligent technical systems.
