Telematics and Electronics for Transports

Bachelor programme (BA/ BSc)

Faculty of Transports Bucharest

Program description

Unique in Romania, the Bachelor's degree program Telematics and Electronics in Transport trains engineers capable of designing, operating and maintaining essential systems and equipment in the field of transport.

The disciplines covered during the four years of the bachelor's degree are focused on the electrical and electronic installations and equipment present in land, naval and air transport. In accordance with the current requirements in the field, an important part of our curriculum is also dedicated to fixed or mobile telecommunications systems used in the field of transport. Unlike other specializations in the IETTI field, our study program places particular emphasis on the safety of equipment and systems. Thus, graduates of this study program develop the skills necessary to work in positions that require high responsibility related to human lives. Our international partners include: Universitat Politechnica de Catalunya (Spain), Universidad Zaragoza (Spain), Technische Hochschule Wildau (Germany), Université Grenoble Alpes (France), Czech Technical University in Prague (Czech Republic) and University of Zagreb (Croatia).

Throughout the bachelor's program we receive support from numerous companies in the field in the form of thematic visits, laboratories held at their headquarters, internships for third-year students and employment opportunities. According to our records, 85% of our students are already employed at the beginning of their master's studies, and over 92% after the full completion of their studies.
