Cultural Tourism

The university programme started in 2012 and is the only programme of this type offered by a Romanian university. The Cultural Tourism is offered by the Faculty of History and Philosophy with the substantial participation of the Faculties of Geography, Economics and Business Administration, European Studies, Business, Political, Administrative and Communication Sciences, Faculty of Theatre and Television, Law and Letters. Romania have a very rich and divers cultural and historical heritage insufficiently exploited, which needs more attention from the central administration and NGO, from the local community too. The programme is offering to the students a large scale of courses and seminaries; their goal is to prepare the students in the area of history and art history, heritage, legal issues, business, guiding, for the Romanian and international market. The mail ideas of the programme are Education, Interdisciplinary approach, Multiculturalism, Multilingvism, Public utility, Social impact.
