Power Systems Engineering

The mission of the Electrical Power Systems Engineering program, which is part of the mission of UPT, is to produce highly qualified licensed engineers in the field of Energy Engineering, with knowledge and design skills, construction and operation of power systems.

The training of such specialists also involves the development of a didactic and research activity according to the model of prestigious universities in Europe, which, capitalizing on the experience gained in over 90 years of electrical education in Timisoara, in general, respectively in the 60 years of education in the field of electricity, in particular.

The theme and the way of organizing the license cycle take into account the requirements of the workforce within the European Union in general and of Romania in particular, encouraging the fields in which specialists involved in the industrial development of Romania are formed, training specialists to ensure the exchange of generations within the exploitation of the electricity system, development of specialized studies through internal program
