Program description

The “Balneo-Physiokinetotherapy and Rehabilitation” study programme operates within the Faculty of Medicine of G.E. Palade UMPhST G.E. of Targu Mures. The educational process takes place in a modern environment, equipped with classrooms and laboratories to European standards, a medical simulation centre, virtual reality facilities and infrastructure dedicated to developing practical skills in the field of physical and functional rehabilitation. The programme promotes evidence-based therapies and integrates students into specialised clinical internships, contributing to the development of the competences required to provide high-quality therapeutic care services.

Acquired skills and knowledge:

-development of physical therapy programmes customised to pathology and in accordance with the objectives set forth by the physician, based on fundamental knowledge in the field;

-development and implementation of programmes of personalised massage;

-development and implementation of hydro-thermo programmes and of other specific methods according to pathology in an integrated recovery treatment programme;

-performance of electrotherapy protocols developed by the physician;
