Industrial Environmental Engineering and Protection

Professional competences
C1 Understanding the mechanisms, processes and effects of anthropogenic or natural origin that cause and influence environmental pollution;
C2 Management and solving the specific environmental issues for a sustainable development;
C3 Applying the general principles of technological calculus;
C4 Elaboration and exploitation of pollution monitoring system;
C5 Environmental quality control, risk and impact assessment, and development of technological options with reduced environmental impact according to BAT/BREF requirements and the legislation in force;
C6 Performing the specific activities related to the management and marketing of environmental engineering and protection.

Transversal competences
CT1 Identifying and complying with the norms and values of the professional ethics, assuming responsibilities for the decision-making process and the related risks;
CT2 Identification of roles and responsibilities in a multidisciplinary team, and application of effective work and cooperation techniques within the team;
CT3 Effective use of information and communication resources and of computer-assisted professional training (internet portals, software applications, databases, on-line courses, etc) both in Romanian and in a foreign language.
