Program description

Accounting and Auditing is a master’s programme designed to deepen knowledge in the fields of finance, accounting, and auditing, preparing professionals capable of meeting the current demands of the economic environment.
The programme is intended for graduates seeking a career in accounting, internal or external auditing, financial consultancy, or taxation. Research conducted within the programme focuses on developing innovative solutions for financial reporting and control, within a collaborative and interdisciplinary framework.
Acquired skills and knowledge:
-developing concepts and theories related to assurance engagements, as well as understanding the requirements and interpretations set out in international standards on auditing, review, and agreed-upon procedures, necessary for examining the information underlying the preparation of financial and fiscal reports
-preparing financial reports in accordance with international regulations and applying financial–accounting techniques to compile and interpret financial statements prepared under the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
-appropriately applying specific concepts, principles, methods, and professional language in various business contexts
