The program aims to improve the general knowledge on protecting the environment and to obtain additional skills in Environmental Engineering, preparing graduates who have completed a bachelor cycle in view of future research activities, engineering design, and Ph.D. admission.The main outcomes that the graduate of this program will acquire are relating to the following:
- Familiarization with advanced research methods in environmental engineering;
- Knowledge of principles and methods of scientific research in environmental engineering;
- Adaptation of scientific research methodologies depending on the specific environmental factors (water, air, soil) and their typology;
- Ability of cooperation with research entities in monitoring and environmental management;
- Ability to perform research and design to remediate polluted territories;
- Possibility to work within research teams;
- Knowing of methods and complex processes for quantification of environmental quality;
- Use of innovative technology for quality control of environment.
